What are the benefits of our Physics resources?
Is it just another resource?
All these are valid questions that we would ask if we were researching new resource – there are many available on the internet. As we are launching these videos we thought it would be a great time to answer these questions.
At In My Element, we are developing a a set of resources where we focus on teaching and building solid foundations in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for KS3 Students (year 7, 8 & 9) and our Physics Videos for 11-14 year olds is part of this development. The aim of these is to cover all the topics you need to learn so that you will be ready and confident to embark upon your GCSE courses. This series will give you a good insight into how the membership will work and provide an insight into our lessons and resources.
🚀 What are the KS3 Physics Resources?
Our KS3 Physics resources is a set of resources that covers all KS3 physics topics. We have split it into 11 topics to cover everything students are expected to learn by the end of Year 9. Each topic covers the key areas, concepts and science terminology that will help you and your child understand that topic to the level required.
🚀 What does each topic include?
Each topic includes a series of lessons covering all key areas. Each lesson includes a presentation with a video teaching you the topic and addressing any tricky areas I know students find hard. The lesson is supported by a worksheet which can be either printed (or saved as an editable PDF) for you to complete. The set of answers then follows so the work can be checked, marked and corrected where necessary.
💥 Who is the lead teacher?
The videos are taught by me (Kelly Mullenger). I have been teaching Science for over 18 years, in schools and as a private tutor. I am experienced in all three sciences, at KS3 and KS4 and cover all abilities. My main focus has always been to help my students realise and achieve their potential, something which I am passionate about. Whilst tutoring, I noticed the large amount of support and courses available for Primary children and GCSE students but very little available for those just starting Secondary school in KS3, particularly their Secondary Science education. So that is where the idea for In My Element came from.

You will have unlimited access to the resources in this format. As well as supporting and extending your KS3 Science learning to make sure you’re GCSE ready.
